Supporting the LGBTQIA+ community means taking meaningful action and showing empathy — not just through Pride Month, but every single day of the year.
That’s why we couldn’t be prouder of our Care With Pride program, a year-round Kenvuer-led initiative dedicated to openly supporting love, equality and care for the LGBTQIA+ community and their families.
We’re proud to care
Since its inception more than a decade ago, Care With Pride has donated more than $1.5 million to LGBTQIA+ nonprofit groups such as Family Equality and Outright International, plus a variety of other organizations making positive impacts on the community.
Our consumer brands Neutrogena®, Listerine®, OGX® and Clean & Clear® have created limited edition products to celebrate our commitment to equality, inclusivity, care and representation. In North America, these products can be purchased during Pride season at retailers like Walgreens, Kroger, CVS, Rite-Aid, Amazon, Ulta, Nordstrom, Meijer, Harris Teeter, Wakefern, Boxed and Target, just to name a few.
With care packages, too!
In addition to our product sales, Care With Pride also creates and delivers care packages to LGBTQIA+ families nationwide. Our care packages change every year, but past items have included coloring books, custom art commissioned from queer illustrators, an herb garden, a custom Care With Pride puzzle, a deck of cards, limited edition Pride products and more.
Last year, we provided more than 700 care packages, with a focus on supporting families with trans and/or non-binary members who face adversity due to anti-LGBTQIA+ laws, particularly in schools. This fall we’re going even bigger and plan to deliver 1,000 care packages.
More on Family Equality
As we celebrate 12 years of multi-brand support for the community, we continue to stand with Family Equality to advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQIA+ families.
Founded in 1979, Family Equality has spent more than 40 years advancing equality for the LGBTQIA+ community and making sure everyone has the freedom to find, form and sustain their families.
This year, Care With Pride is proud to continue its support for Family Equality at their in-person Family Week event in July. Building on last year’s phenomenal success—which brought together nearly 2,000 individuals, including close to 600 families—the event remains the largest annual gathering of LGBTQIA+ families worldwide.
We’ll also participate in Family Equality’s LA Impact fundraising event in October. Last year, this remarkable gathering honored heroes of the LGBTQIA+ community and successfully raised more than $400K for Family Equality’s mission.
Showing up to celebrate Pride
Care With Pride, in partnership with Kenvue Open&Out, our employee resource group, is also thrilled to support Pride parades around the world again this year. Locations include New Hope, Pa.; Asbury Park, N.J.; Los Angeles; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Toronto; Cologne, Germany; and New York City.
We also supported Outright International’s Celebration of Courage gala on June 5, which amplifies the voices of activists and allies who are driving real progress for LGBTQIA+ rights worldwide.
