Anindya (Andy) Dasgupta will be Group President, Asia Pacific, for Kenvue. He will lead a fully integrated, end-to-end team, responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy in the Asia-Pacific region and capitalizing on the rapid acceleration of markets, data, technology and science to achieve superior consumer experiences.
Andy is a transformational commercial business leader, with nearly 30 years of experience with consumer product organizations and particular expertise in commercial strategy, business development, sales and marketing. Prior to joining Kenvue, Andy served as Chief Consumer Officer for Imperial Brands, where he helped lead the company’s product portfolio transformation by overseeing the creation of the company’s new non-tobacco business stream.
Prior to Imperial Brands, Andy served in senior leadership roles in other global consumer products companies such as Fonterra, PepsiCo and GSK, holding regional and global positions across Europe, the U.S. and Asia. At Fonterra, he served as Global Head, Consumer Business and Chief Marketing and Sales Officer after having previously held the role of Global Chief Marketing Officer. Within four-and-a-half years, he grew Fonterra’s consumer dairy business from $1.1 billion to $3.2 billion with full P&L responsibility. Andy’s nine years at PepsiCo culminated in his role as Global Senior Director, Beverages, in which he led the company’s $32 billion non-carbonated business globally from a brand and portfolio perspective. At GSK, he held various positions within the company’s consumer goods division in India and the UK.Andy is also the founder of Growth Officers Inc. Pvt. Ltd, a consulting firm helping private equity portfolio companies across South East Asia, Africa and Europe identify acquisition targets and execute plans against key business growth levers.
Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics from Jadavpur University and a post-graduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
