One of our core values is we care fiercely, because we know the stronger our bonds are, the stronger our brands and company are, too.

Tell us about your work at Kenvue.
I work primarily on Kenvue Cares, our social impact platform. As the Senior Manager of Global Social Impact, I lead volunteerism for the organization. We all know that volunteering is such a powerful experience, but when you’re doing it alongside colleagues, friends and teammates, it builds a bond.
Beyond volunteerism among Kenvuers, we’re committed to creating meaningful impact for our communities through humanitarian aid. Our collective work helps to restore the dignity of personal care for vulnerable and displaced people around the world; these efforts can span across monetary donations to mobilizing our amazing arsenal of brands with hygiene product donations.
When did you start working with Kenvue brands?
I started in the company nearly seven years ago in a development program which allowed me to rotate through a few Human Resources positions. From there, I started working on our iconic portfolio of brands in a strategy and operations/chief of staff role for our Global Head of HR. I moved to a role working on our digital talent strategy and as a human resources partner for our franchise presidents at the time. However, when I joined the company, it was always with the thought of wanting to work in social impact; I just needed to figure out how to get there. And when Kenvue began designing its social impact strategy, I knew I had to put everything into being a part of the team. I met with the team leads and received advice from my mentors and support from my key sponsors. I’ve now been in this role since January of 2023.
What is something exciting you’re currently working on?
I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I am super excited for Kenvue Cares Week in May! We piloted it last year as a week-long moment of team-based volunteerism for Kenvuers to come together across the world and create positive impact within the communities that we live and work in.
Last year we piloted Kenvue Cares Week in six locations, and this year we’re expanding that to 25+ locations. It’s going to be such an incredible moment. When we launched this, we weren’t sure how it was going to land, but our communities and the employees loved it. It was especially exciting for me to hear from our Kenvuers how much they wanted to come together to do these important activities and feel part of a bigger movement. I walked away from the event feeling super recharged and proud to be a part of leading something and I can’t wait to do it again!
What are some of the rewarding elements of your job?
Everyone says it, but it’s an amazing feeling to say that I work for iconic names like BAND-AID® Brand. But even more than that, I’ve had such a good vantage point on how these products and trusted brands show up in restoring the dignity for people in need around the world. In those moments, you’re not just getting any bar of soap, you are getting Aveeno® soap. It may seem so small, but it is the dignity of care through the science-backed products that we are able to provide people.
What advice would you give someone entering the workforce?
I think we sometimes have this ultimate dream role in mind and say, “That’s where I want to be now.” But honestly, that’s sometimes too huge of a leap to make from where you are now. However, if you can point to that thing in the distance and say, that’s where I want to go, and then identify those tiny little steps to help you get closer to that role, that can be a game-changer. For me, when I was in HR, it was getting closer to our work building an inclusive workplace, learning more about sustainability and being a part of a mentoring program for young women entering the workforce. It was a hugely purposeful, impactful way for me to contribute. When you move incrementally, it builds your skills, keeps you connected to that ultimate dream role and allows you to build your network, but it also opens you up to other things, and that’s incredibly important.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I got married last June, and we love to travel! Last year we went to South Africa and Zimbabwe for our honeymoon, and I took my husband to India for his first time to meet my grandmother. This year, we have trips to Mexico City and France planned. I’m particularly passionate about underserved women, so in my downtime, I volunteer with Dress for Success, which is a global nonprofit that provides professional attire and other work resources for unemployed and underemployed women. Given my HR background, I usually lend a hand in refreshing resumes. It’s such a perfect way to use two of my passions, HR and social impact, and bring that together to help women reentering the workforce.
Lastly, what are the essentials in your medicine cabinet?
We have so many! I use the OGX® Body Wash, though my husband prefers Neutrogena® Rain Bath, but my go-to skin staple is the Neostrata® Vitamin C Serum.
