Kathy Widmer is the Group President, North America and Latin America for Kenvue. Responsible for leading a fully integrated, end-to-end team, Kathy is responsible for driving the growth strategy in North America, accelerating breakthrough capabilities, ensuring flawless execution and combining them with the company’s competitive advantage of scale and depth to enable long-term growth. She also oversees the company’s development in Latin America.
Kathy leads a significant portion of the Kenvue business, delivering personal health and wellness solutions to consumers through beloved brands, including Neutrogena®, Listerine®, Tylenol®, Johnson’s®, OGX® and Zarbee’s®. As a leader, Kathy believes in the power of culture and her mission is to create an environment where her team can perform at their very best. She embraces transparency, optimism and is known for building agile teams and accelerating breakthrough capabilities.
Kathy brings more than 30 years of experience, spanning supply chain to commercial, small company to large multi-national, and operational leader to public company board director. Kathy began her corporate career in the Consumer division at Johnson & Johnson where she advanced through many roles, eventually leading Marketing for the US Self Care business. She then joined Elizabeth Arden, Inc., where she was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for global marketing strategy, development and execution. Kathy returned to Johnson & Johnson as President of the US Self Care division and was later appointed to the position of Company Group Chairman for North America and Latin America.
Kathy graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and is among the earliest graduating classes with women. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University.
Kathy is passionate about the health and wellbeing of military veterans and their families. In 2017, she joined the Board of Directors for Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization focused on health and well-being of post-9/11 veterans and their families. She was appointed Chairman of the Board in 2021. She served on the Executive Steering Committee for Johnson & Johnson’s Veterans Leadership Council, which seeks to make Johnson & Johnson best-in-class in supporting military service members, veterans and their families.
