Jan Meurer is the Chief Growth Officer for Kenvue. In this role, Jan’s mandate is to establish the next evolution of the company’s growth strategy, amplifying the power of our brands and harnessing key capabilities that will allow us to fully live into our agile and Digital First ambitions. He oversees the three Global Franchise organizations as well as the following groups: Global Strategy, Business Development & Ventures, the ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) Office, and the Office of the CEO.
Jan previously served as the Global Head of Strategy at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health and was a member of the Consumer Health Leadership Team. He has more than 25 years of experience building global consumer brands and leading diverse teams. An experienced global leader, Jan has demonstrated a deep passion for consumers, patients, and innovation. He is a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, having successfully built diverse high-performing teams across multiple regions.
Known for his strategic leadership and commitment to patients and consumers, Jan currently serves on the board of the US-ASEAN Business Council and formerly served on the boards of World Self Medication Industry (WSMI), European Self Medication Industry (AESGP), the IKW Association and the “Deutscher Markenverband” (German Brands Manufacturer Association), with a key goal to shape the healthcare marketplace and empower patient self-care.
Prior to his current role, Jan served as President, Johnson & Johnson Southeast Asia (SEA), where he led the SEA business across Janssen Pharmaceuticals, MedTech, Consumer Health and Vision. He made a lasting impact on the business by making clear, strategic choices which drove profitable growth for the company across the sectors. Prior to this, he served as Area Managing Director Central Europe, J&J Consumer Health, where he was responsible for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Poland, Hungary, Czech, Slovakia and the Baltics.
Before joining Johnson & Johnson in 2015, Jan held senior roles at Procter & Gamble, PGT HealthCare and Siemens Technologies. He has worked in Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Venezuela, Singapore and the U.S., and speaks four languages.
Jan holds a degree in business administration from Passau University in Germany and has studied in the U.S. as a Rotary Scholar.
